I've had a Twitter account since 2009 and never bothered using it. Didn't see a reason. Still not sure I do. But I have a friend who's a marketer who's plugged into every available social media site and he thinks I'm a Luddite.
I decided to prove him wrong.
So, if you feel like following me on Twitter, I'm @vincedorse and the feed will most likely be about art and design, my projects and shows and, occasionally, what I'm eating for lunch.

Don't expect fireworks. I'm an illustrator and a hermit and I'm not dating any celebrities. Yet. -v
Seriously, you need to get into more social media. Next you need to set up a facebook account.
ReplyDeleteOh god, facebook. It's like a black hole that keeps trying to suck me in. My biggest problem with social media is the incredible amount of time it takes away from my actual artwork. But I'm trying this experiment and we'll see where it goes. Thanks for following! -v
DeleteOkay, you're right. Facebook is the social media version of a black hole (SG-1 flashbacks) when it comes to time. But it's not a bad way to network, and it's visual, which is great for illustrators. It's the virtual platform. : )
DeletePoint taken. If I had a robot--or a clone--who could take care of the social media while I drew, I would totally be on Facebook. In fact, if I'm ever on Facebook, assume I've cracked the whole cloning dilemma.
DeleteConsidering it's nothing short of a miracle that you have begun to tweet, the world will have to settle for that.
